Description of the campsite

Camping Lazy Rancho is a Swiss family campsite with more than 60 years of history, in Unterseen, next to Interlaken and a few minutes from Lake Thun, with the peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as a backdrop. In 2026 it merged with the neighbouring Camping Hobby, and today it brings together, under one brand, two areas with their own character:

  • Family & Adventure — the area for families and active holidaymakers: pitches, bungalows and igloos, a pool, a playground and endless mountain activities (hiking, paragliding, rafting, cycling…).
  • Adults Only — the former Camping Hobby, now a quiet area reserved for guests over 16, with tree-shaded pitches and the Berg & Breakfast accommodation, ideal for relaxing as a couple or with friends.

From here you can discover the Jungfrau region, Interlaken and Lake Thun and Lake Brienz; and in under an hour by car you can reach Bern or Lucerne. 2026 season: Family & Adventure from 2 April to 18 October; Adults Only from 2 April to 30 September. From Unterseen you can reach trails, cycling routes, rafting, canoeing, canyoning and other activities in the Bernese Alps. The visitor card includes local transport and makes excursions around Interlaken and the Jungfrau region easier.
