Description of the campsite
Campsite in Chessel, Switzerland, on flat, grassy ground with gravel paths, bordered by the Grand Canal and the forest. It has a children's play area. It is only a few kilometres from Lake Geneva and the tourist town of Montreux, and also close to the foothills of the Vaud Alps. In the immediate vicinity of the campsite there are several shopping centres and a bus stop at the entrance to the site. Important: there is an absolute ban on barbecues, open fires and portable stoves throughout the campsite, by decision of the canton of Vaud dated 09.07.2026, due to the proximity of forests and hedges.
