Description of the campsite
Camping du Lac de Joux is 150 metres from the lake, on a terrace with panoramic views over the lake and the Vallée. An ideal location for swimming, windsurfing, hiking and cycling. Supermarkets and a sports centre are 2.5 km away, with an ice rink open from September to March, an indoor pool with wellness area, and martial arts and fitness rooms. In winter the lake occasionally becomes a giant skating rink. The region provides the ValPass card with free access to public transport and discounts on tourist attractions. The valley's ski lifts are part of the MagicPass network. Access is via a narrow road from Le Lieu along the lakeshore.
