Camping Giessen is located in the Giessen area, 2 km from the village of Binn, at 1,450 m above sea level, next to the Binna river. It covers roughly three hectares in a natural state, partly within an alder wood, offering numerous cosy spots with a romantic atmosphere. Ideal as a starting point for exploring the Binn valley, it attracts mineral collectors, botanists, hikers and nature-loving families. The campsite has electrical hook-ups, showers with hot water, a kiosk and waste disposal. Visitors appreciate the authenticity of the place and the chance to spend evenings by open fires enjoying local wine and regional culinary specialities.
