Description of the campsite
Quiet, sunny campsite at the foot of the famous Eigernordwand, a 4-minute drive from the centre of Grindelwald. It has modern sanitary facilities completely refurbished in 2023, with heated toilets and hot showers, accessible for people with reduced mobility. It offers a washing machine, a dryer and a dishwashing area with hot water. There is a lounge with wifi, mobile phone chargers and a ski room with a dryer. In summer a kiosk with drinks and food operates, and a local bakery delivers fresh bread daily. The campsite is an ideal starting point for hiking and mountaineering in summer, and in winter it is next to ski slopes. Credit cards (except Amex) and cash in Swiss francs are accepted.
