Description of the campsite
Before you travel, confirm the opening dates and the access route with the accommodation, especially if you have a large motorhome. The season published in the guides consulted is contradictory, and a traveller in September 2026 describes a narrow access road. Landstory Camping & Glamping is at Quinta do Cerrado da Torre, in Amarante, with the Douro and Tâmega rivers as a backdrop. The estate offers two types of accommodation: a classic manor-style suite and glamping options. The quinta's own gardens, vegetable plots, vineyards, woods and animals are part of everyday life here. The EN 222 road, regarded as one of the most beautiful in the world, starts from here towards the Douro wine region. As for distances, Vila Real is 15 minutes away, Guimarães and Braga 30, Porto 45 and Bragança 60, all reachable by motorway.
