Description of the campsite
Toca da Raposa is a small campsite in Meruge, in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital, about 80 km from Coimbra and at the foot of the Serra da Estrela mountains, in central Portugal. It is open all year, although the bar, the restaurant and the bungalow and cabin rentals operate only between 1 April and 30 September. It has a pool, playground, free wifi and toilet facilities with hot showers and washbasins. Hiking trails can be reached from the campsite itself, and horse riding and canoeing or rafting activities are also available in the area.
