Description of the campsite
Camping Umbramare is in Vieste, 6 km from the centre and very close to Scialmarino beach, a sandy bay that since the 1980s has been one of the most highly rated windsurfing spots in Europe; in fact, it was home to the first school of this sport on the Adriatic. Surrounded by vegetation and sea, it offers pitches for tents and caravans, as well as apartments. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, supermarket, laundry, playground, boules, barbecues, wifi and parking, as well as activities such as windsurfing. It is open from April to October and is a suitable option for families thanks to its quiet atmosphere and closeness to the water.
