Description of the campsite
Il Pioppeto is a family-run campsite, managed by the D'Ugo family since the 1970s, overlooking the Gulf of Vasto on the Adriatic, in Vasto Marina, on the Costa dei Trabocchi. Set between Mediterranean scrub (maquis) and the dunes, it offers over 200 metres of free beach with shallow waters, ideal for children. The toilet facilities have recently been renovated with attention to water saving and low environmental impact. The campsite has a restaurant, bar, supermarket, entertainment with shows, excursions, a motorhome area and facilities for people with disabilities. Dogs are allowed, and there are wifi, drinking water, hot showers and children's bathrooms. Suitable for families and for those looking for a comfortable stay near the sea.
