Description of the campsite
A river shuttle leaves from the landing stage of Camping L'Étoile d'Argens (Sandaya) and in 20 minutes drops travellers at the fine sandy beach of Esclamandes, so here the river is also the way to go. It is a five-star campsite of 16 hectares in a Natura 2000 area, with the Clef Verte label for its ecological management, in Saint Aygulf, in the Var, 3 km from other beaches. There are several pools (one for swimming, a paddling pool and bubble baths), minigolf, four tennis courts, padel, canoeing and bike rental; the shop sells local organic products. The accommodation in the riverside area is quiet, and being in a no-signal area, mobile phones get neither 3G nor 4G. It is open from early April to late October.
