Description of the campsite
Castellane watches over the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon from the top of its rock, with the chapel of Notre-Dame-du-Roc standing above the village and the river making its way towards the most famous canyon in Europe. Camping White Rock has a playground and baby bath, hot showers, a motorhome service point, television and wifi, and dogs are allowed. Its location beside a protected natural park makes it a good starting point for canoe descents or the trails that run along the Verdon canyon. Castellane is also the usual starting point for those following the Route Napoléon towards the Alps.
