Description of the campsite

Castellane overlooks the entrance to the Verdon Gorges from the top of a crag crowned by the chapel of Notre-Dame du Roc, one of the most photographed viewpoints in Haute-Provence. Camping Frédéric Mistral is set near that hilltop village, offering a pool and a gym for the Provençal summer, as well as a restaurant and a supermarket that save unnecessary trips. The playground entertains the little ones, while fishing and pétanque fill the quiet afternoons.
