Agay shelters in one of the most enclosed coves of the Esterel massif, that reddish volcanic rock that drops straight into the Mediterranean between Saint-Raphaël and Cannes. Camping Les Rives de l'Agay is set beside the river of the same name, in a setting still little developed compared with the big resorts of the neighbouring coast, ideal for those who want simplicity by the sea. The mouth of the Agay and the nearby coves of the Esterel invite you to explore the coast on foot or by kayak. It is advisable to call ahead to find out the specific dates the site opens.
