Saint-Raphaël rests against the red rock of the Esterel, a volcanic massif that drops straight into the sea between turquoise coves in the heart of the French Riviera (Côte d'Azur). Camping Santa Lucia has air conditioning, a bar, barbecues, bungalows, takeaway food, a playground, a fishing area, pétanque, a swimming pool, hiking, a spa and television. Dogs are accepted and it is close to the beach. The trails that cross the Esterel massif, among pines and rust-coloured rocks, offer some of the best views of the coast. It opens in season; confirming the exact opening period at reception, in good time, is sensible.
