Camping Le Haut Verdon is in Villars-Colmars, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence département, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in the Upper Verdon valley, near the fortified town of Colmars-les-Alpes, in the heart of the Mercantour massif. It is a seasonal campsite with a pool, a bar and a restaurant, as well as takeaway food, a supermarket and bungalow accommodation, and offers a playground and pétanque. It has a tennis court, barbecue areas and wifi. Dogs are allowed. Its high Alpine mountain setting invites fishing in the mountain streams of the Upper Verdon and hiking through the forests and mountain passes around Colmars, on the way to the Mercantour.
