Camping du Villard is in Thorame-Basse, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence département of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in the mountains and beside a lake, at the confluence of the Verdon and the Vaïre, right at the gateway to the upper Verdon valley. It is a seasonal campsite with bungalow accommodation, plus fishing, billiards, table football, pétanque, a ping-pong table and a playground, and it offers barbecues, electricity on the pitch, toilets, a motorhome service point, hiking and Wi-Fi. It has adaptations for people with reduced mobility and accepts cards. Its high-mountain, lakeside setting invites long outings and visits to the villages of the upper Verdon.
