Description of the campsite
Camping La Ferme Riola is in Contes, in the Alpes-Maritimes department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in the heart of the upper Nice hinterland, between the sea and the mountains. It is a seasonal campsite with a pool and bungalow accommodation, as well as parking, laundry and aerobics, and it offers electricity, a motorhome service point and a chemical toilet. It has ironing facilities and a Wi-Fi connection. Its setting, among olive groves, vineyards and the hills of the hinterland, invites walks to the perched villages and exploring the heritage and the baous (rocky limestone peaks) of the Nice hinterland, close to Nice. It is a practical, well-located base for families discovering the interior of the French Riviera in the height of summer, away from the intense coastal tourism of the seafront.
