Curbans sits in the Durance valley, in the Hautes-Alpes, a land of bare hills and very clear light that extends towards the great Serre-Ponçon reservoir. Camping du Lac makes the most of the nearby water to offer a pool, hiking in the surroundings and a spa area to rest after mountain routes. The bungalows provide accommodation for those who arrive without their own tent, and dogs are welcome throughout the site, something to appreciate in a setting so open to walking.
