Description of the campsite
La Roche-des-Arnauds lies beside the River Buëch, near Gap, in an Alpine valley of the Hautes-Alpes that combines high pastures with slopes of Mediterranean forest. Camping Le Parc des Sérigons offers bungalows and hiking trails, in a quiet mid-mountain setting little frequented by mass tourism. The Buëch valley, with its very Provençal light despite the altitude, invites walks among lavender fields and small stone villages. This campsite's calendar could not be confirmed; asking directly, before organising the visit, is the most sensible course.
