La Tranche-sur-Mer combines one of the longest beaches in the south of the Vendée with pine forests and an atmosphere much appreciated by surfing and kitesurfing fans, close to the Marais Poitevin. Camping Les Rouillères offers a bar and takeaway food service, as well as a pool and children's area for families. The bungalows are a comfortable alternative to a tent, with the beach very close to the site, perfect for rounding off any day with a swim.
