Les Préveils is in La Tranche-sur-Mer, on the southern Vendée coast, famous among windsurfing and kitesurfing fans for its constant winds and its beach that stretches for several kilometres with hardly a break. The Pointe d'Arçay nature reserve, a little further south, protects dunes and pine woods that complete the landscape of this Atlantic strip. The campsite offers a bar, bungalows, takeaway food, a restaurant and a pool, and dogs are allowed. The beach is very close. The campsite is open the full season, although it is best to confirm the exact dates before booking.
