Description of the campsite
Avrillé has within its municipality one of the most important megalithic complexes in the Vendée, with menhirs and dolmens hidden among woods that are now part of a protected landscape near the Atlantic coast. Camping Le Domaine des Forges offers a full resort with a bar, barbecues, bungalows and a sports field, plus takeaway food, glamping tents, a playground, fishing, pétanque and two pools. The restaurant and its own supermarket save you from leaving the site. Dogs are allowed and television covers the common areas. It is best to book well ahead and to check the opening dates with the campsite.
