The Longeville state forest (forêt domaniale) shelters this Vendée coast from the Atlantic wind, among century-old pines and dunes that descend to wide beaches, very close to La Tranche-sur-Mer. Camping Club Les Brunelles offers such a complete range of facilities that you need not leave the site all week: indoor and outdoor pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi and billiards, as well as a restaurant complemented by a takeaway food service. The playground entertains the little ones, while the tennis courts fill the afternoons of the more active families. Dogs are welcome throughout the site. It is advisable to ask the campsite directly for the calendar before travelling.
