Description of the campsite
Camping des Varennes is in Mûrs-Erigné, in the Maine-et-Loire département of the Pays de la Loire region, beside a river, right on the outskirts of Angers, in the heart of the Anjou region. It is a campsite with accommodation in bungalows, as well as fishing, toilets and a chemical toilet disposal point, and it offers hiking. Its riverside, rural setting, among the river, the meadows and the vineyards of Anjou, invites walks along the riverbank and discovering the heritage of the Angevin Loire valley, close to Angers and its castle. It is currently closed for works; the town council plans to reopen it for the 2027 summer season.
