Description of the campsite
Camping de la Prée is in Préfailles, at the southern tip of the Pays de Retz, where the low cliffs and rocky coves of the Pointe Saint-Gildas look out over the mouth of the Loire, opposite Saint-Brevin on the other side of the estuary. The campsite has bungalows, glamping and a spa area for relaxing, and fishing from the nearby rocks is a widespread tradition among visitors. There is no need to leave the dog at home. The beach is a short walk along coastal paths that are quiet even in high season. The campsite is open from 27 March to 11 October, although it is advisable to confirm the exact dates when booking.
