Camping de l'Etang du Pays Blanc is in Guérande, the walled town that gives its name to the famous artisan fleur de sel salt pans that stretch between the town and the Atlantic coast. The Guérande Peninsula combines salt marshes, canals and small villages of paludiers (salt workers) who harvest salt as they have for centuries. The campsite has a very complete offer: a bar, bungalows, takeaway food, a gym, glamping, a jacuzzi, a playground, fishing, an outdoor and an indoor pool, a sauna, hiking and a spa, and dogs are allowed. La Baule and its beach are a short trip away. The campsite is open from 11 April to 27 September, although it is advisable to confirm the exact dates when booking.
