Description of the campsite
Canet-en-Roussillon shares its coastline between the sandy beach and the large brackish lagoon that opens right behind the town, in the heart of Roussillon, with the Pyrenees appearing in the background on clear days. Camping Ma Prairie offers air-conditioned accommodation to cope with the Mediterranean heat, as well as bungalows, a gym, a bar and a restaurant, with hiking trails around the lagoon. Dogs are allowed and there is a spa and wifi throughout the site, with the beach a short step away to round off the day. It is a good starting point for getting around between Perpignan and the Côte Vermeille without giving up the comforts of a well-equipped campsite. The campsite operates throughout the season, although it is worth reconfirming the exact dates.
