Description of the campsite
Cazals, in the Bouriane of the Lot, is a medieval market town with stone arcades, in an area of forests and chestnut groves very different from the arid causses (limestone plateaus) that characterise the rest of the Lot, with Bonaguil and its fortified castle a short distance away. Camping Les Rives du Lac - Cazals has bungalows and glamping tents, takeaway food, pétanque and a tennis court, and good access to hiking routes through the wooded area. It is a quiet base for discovering Cazals and its surroundings without the crowds of other spots in the neighbouring Périgord. As it is a seasonal campsite, it is advisable to confirm the exact opening dates before booking your stay.
