Description of the campsite
Argelès-sur-Mer stretches out several kilometres of beach in the heart of the Côte Vermeille, with the Pyrenees sinking into the Mediterranean to the south, already close to the Catalan border. Camping Les Marsouins offers bungalows, a restaurant beside a pool, a jacuzzi and a playground for families, with a small supermarket that saves unnecessary trips out. The day ends after the beach or after a trip to Collioure, the neighbouring fishing village that captivated the Fauvist painters. The sand is a few minutes' walk from the pitches. It is advisable to call ahead to find out the exact dates when the site opens.
