Description of the campsite
Camping Le Pas de l'Ours is in Aston, in the Ariège department of the Occitanie region, in the mountains, in the heart of the upper Aston valley and right at the gateway to the Pyrénées Ariégeoises regional nature park. It is a seasonal campsite with a bar and bungalow accommodation, as well as a pool, fishing and a playground, and it offers barbecues, a bakery, bike rental and an entertainment programme. Canyoning, rafting or canoeing and hiking are available. Its high-mountain setting, among meadows, peaks and the ridges of the Ariège Pyrenees, invites long outings along the Aston valley and the discovery of the lakes and the pastoral tradition of the high country of southern France.
