Description of the campsite
Camping La Ribère is in Barèges, in the Hautes-Pyrénées department of the Occitanie region, in the mountains, in the heart of the upper Barèges valley, at the foot of the Tourmalet pass and the Cirque de Gavarnie. It is a seasonal campsite with accommodation in bungalows and offers heating, organised excursions and hiking. Its high-mountain surroundings, among peaks, glacial valleys and the uplands of the Bigorre Pyrenees, invite long hiking routes, thermal baths and exploring the villages of the Lavedan. The season is partial or complex, so it is best to check the dates before travelling.
