Description of the campsite
Esquièze-Sère adjoins Luz-Saint-Sauveur in the Gave de Pau valley, right at the gateway to the great Pyrenean passes that climb towards the Tourmalet and the Cirque de Gavarnie. Camping International offers bungalows and a bar, with a jacuzzi and spa to rest your legs after hiking routes in the Hautes-Pyrénées, as well as takeaway food and a pool to cool off on the hottest days. Dogs are allowed, so pets can enjoy the mountains too. It is a solid base for summer hiking and, in winter, for getting to the nearby ski resorts. The campsite operates normally throughout the season, although it is worth reconfirming the exact dates before the trip.
