The Vallespir opens towards the Mediterranean between mountains that rise to the Canigó, and Saint-Jean-Pla-de-Corts, near Céret, occupies a quiet spot in this valley watered by the Tech river, famous for its cherry trees. Camping de la Vallée offers bungalows, a pool, a restaurant and a snack bar with takeaway food, a playground and pétanque for free time, as well as wifi throughout the site. The barbecues on the pitches allow outdoor dinners on the mild Roussillon evenings. Hiking leads to the mountain villages of the Vallespir and to Céret, linked to the Cubist painters.
