Description of the campsite
Saint-Cirq-Lapopie clings to a crag above the Lot valley, voted more than once the most beautiful village in France, with medieval lanes that climb steeply from the river to the fortified church. Camping de la Truffière offers bungalows and glamping tents, with a pool for the summer heat and a playground for families, as well as its own restaurant and hiking routes that descend towards the river or climb towards the causses (limestone plateaus) of the Quercy. It is a charming base for exploring the Lot, its caves and its golden stone villages, avoiding the village traffic in the middle hours of the day. The exact season dates remain to be confirmed: it is best to check them directly with the campsite.
