Among pines and 1 km from the beach, Camping Club Médoc Plage spreads its 885 pitches over 27 hectares in Vendays-Montalivet, in the Gironde. A cycle lane leaves from the entrance and links up with the Vélodyssée; along it you reach Montalivet-les-Bains and its market in a kilometre and a half, and a pedestrian-only forest path leads down to Plage Sud, a great surfing spot. The water area includes an 850 m² pool, a wild river, a lagoon, slides such as the Space Hole and ten pentaglisses, three of them for children. Those looking for quiet have an area for over-18s only, set apart from the park. There are cottages with 1 to 4 bedrooms for up to 8 people. Opening dates should be checked with the campsite.
