Labenne combines open Atlantic beaches with a pine forest hinterland that stretches to Ondres and Capbreton, on a coastal strip of the Landes known for its surf breaks and its inland lakes. Camping Sylvamar has a wide range of facilities: a bar, bungalows, glamping accommodation, a playground, fishing, a table tennis table, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a spa and tennis courts, with the beach a short distance away among pine woods. It is a very complete base for surfing, cycling along the Landes forest tracks or excursions to Bayonne and the nearby Basque coast.
