Périgord Vacances is in Saint-Amand-de-Coly, a village in the Périgord Noir known throughout the area for its fortified church, one of the best-preserved fortified abbeys in south-west France. The setting of woods and limestone valleys around Sarlat and Lascaux shapes the character of this rural part of the Dordogne. The campsite has a wide range of facilities: a bar, barbecues and takeaway food, bungalows and glamping, a jacuzzi and spa, a swimming pool, pétanque and its own supermarket, as well as television in the communal areas. Fishing in the nearby streams and hiking along the paths of the Périgord complete the offer, and dogs are allowed. As the season status is not yet confirmed, it is best to ask directly for the opening dates.
