Description of the campsite
La Fage is in La Chapelle-Aubareil, in the heart of the Périgord Noir, the area of the Dordogne around Montignac and the Lascaux caves. The Vézère valley, with its prehistoric rock shelters and truffle markets, shapes the character of this rural part of south-west France. The campsite has air conditioning in its facilities, bungalows so you don't need to bring a tent, a bar and takeaway food, its own supermarket and television in the common areas for relaxing after visits to the nearby castles and bastides. Dogs are allowed, which is welcome in an area so well suited to walking routes. The campsite is open from 18 April to 12 September, although it is advisable to confirm the exact dates before booking.
