Description of the campsite
Camping Municipal La Rivière is in Donzenac, in the Corrèze department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, in the heart of walnut and chestnut country, right on the border of the Limousin and the Quercy. It is a seasonal municipal campsite with bungalow accommodation, plus toilets and a chemical toilet disposal point. Its rural setting, among vineyards, chestnut trees and the stone villages of the lower Limousin, invites walks in the countryside and discovery of the medieval heritage of Donzenac and of the villages and vineyards of the Brive area. It is an affordable, well-located base for families and motorhome travellers in the southwest of the Massif Central in the height of summer, close to nature and away from the mass tourism of southwest France, near Brive and Collonges-la-Rouge.
