Camping Les Tamaris is in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, in the Charente-Maritime département of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, close to the beach, in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, the main town on the island of Oléron, near the Chassiron lighthouse at its northern tip. It is a seasonal campsite with a pool, bungalow accommodation and a playground, as well as a gym, and it has pétanque and wifi. Its island setting invites fishing beside the oyster-farming harbours of Oléron and walks to the Chassiron lighthouse, at the northern tip of the island.
