Saint-Augustin, very close to Royan, is part of the Côte de Beauté, the stretch of Charente coast known for its fine sandy beaches and traditional seaside atmosphere. Camping L'Écureuil has two pools, one of them indoor, as well as a table tennis area for those who want to be active. The bar, the restaurant and the takeaway food service cover meals without fuss, and the children's area and pétanque fill family afternoons.
