Description of the campsite
Saint-Vincent-de-Cosse lies in the Dordogne valley, very close to Beynac and its castle perched on the cliff, on one of the most photographed stretches of river in the Périgord Noir. Camping Le Tiradou offers a pool for swimming, its own restaurant and bakery, an entertainment programme in high season and wifi, and you can travel with a dog. It is a good base for visiting the castles that line the valley, such as Beynac or Castelnaud, facing each other on either side of the river, as well as the honey-coloured stone villages that follow one another along the bank. The Dordogne, navigable by canoe on this stretch, also lets you discover the landscape from the water.
