Description of the campsite
Vitrac looks out over the Dordogne from the Caudon area, very close to Sarlat and La Roque-Gageac, one of the most charming villages in the whole Périgord Noir, overlooking the river directly. Camping La Bouysse offers a bar, bungalows and takeaway food beside its own pool, with a small supermarket that saves unnecessary trips. Dogs are allowed and the river beach is near the campsite, to round off the day after canoe trips on the Dordogne or visits to the neighbouring castles. The campsite is open from 18 April to 27 September, so it is best to secure your booking in good time.
