Vielle-Saint-Girons lies between the Landes pine forest and the fine-sand Atlantic beaches that run unbroken from Mimizan to Contis, in the heart of the Marensin. Camping La Jaougotte makes the most of this double landscape of forest and ocean with a pool and a bar to recover your strength after days of surfing or cycling on the nearby forest tracks. The glamping tents offer a comfortable alternative for those without a tent of their own, and the playground keeps the little ones entertained in the afternoons. The beach is a short walk through the pines, one of the great attractions of this part of the Landes. Before you travel, it is worth checking the dates with the campsite.
