Camping de Maubuisson is in the village of Maubuisson itself, on the shores of Lake Carcans, the largest freshwater lake on the Gironde coast, very popular with sailing and windsurfing enthusiasts who make the most of a steadier wind than the nearby ocean. The campsite has air conditioning, barbecues, bungalows, glamping, pétanque and a pool, and dogs are allowed. The Atlantic beach, on the other side of the strip of pines, completes the offer for those who want to combine lake and sea in the same stay.
