Camping de la Bucherie is in Saint-Saud-Lacoussière, in the Périgord Vert, the most northerly and wooded part of the Dordogne, near Nontron and its famous handmade knives. Away from the crowds of the tourist Périgord Noir, this corner keeps chestnut woods, ponds and a slower pace of life. The campsite has a bar, takeaway food, glamping and a pool, as well as wifi for those who need it, and dogs are allowed. It is a quiet base for exploring the stone villages of the northern Dordogne.
