Description of the campsite
Lacanau brings together two very different faces: the inland lake, calm and suitable for all ages, and the ocean, with its surf beaches known throughout Europe. Camping de l'Ermitage is located by the Moutchic, the most sheltered shore of Lake Lacanau, in the heart of the Landes pine forest. The simple, natural setting lends itself to swimming in warm fresh water, very different from the Atlantic waves breaking a few kilometres away. The calendar for this season could not be verified; checking it directly before organising your visit is sensible.
