Aquaviva is in Carsac-Aillac, in the heart of the Périgord Noir, very close to the cirque de Montfort, one of the most photographed meanders of the river Dordogne, with its castle overlooking the water between Domme and La Roque-Gageac. The campsite has a bar, barbecues, bungalows, takeaway food, a playground, fishing, pétanque, an outdoor pool, a restaurant, hiking, a spa, tennis courts and wifi, and dogs are allowed. It is a very complete base for exploring the area's castles and bastides. As the season status is not yet confirmed, ask directly for the opening dates before booking.
