Description of the campsite
Camping Amestoya is in Bidarray, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, on the banks of the Nive, in the heart of the French Basque Country, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, near Itxassou and the gorges through which the river runs. It is a seasonal campsite with barbecue areas and electrical hook-ups on the pitches. Its surroundings of Basque mountains and clear-water rivers invite walks along the Nive, water sports in its gorges and the discovery of the traditional farmhouses and the old stone bridge that crosses the village.
