Description of the campsite
Conchil-le-Temple stretches along the mouth of the Baie d'Authie, an estuary of dunes and salt marshes where colonies of migratory birds nest, in the very heart of the Picardy Côte d'Opale. Camping des 4 Plages takes its name from its closeness to several sandy beaches in the area and offers bungalows for those who arrive without their own equipment, plus fishing in the nearby waters. Dogs are welcome throughout the site, in a campsite designed for exploring the bay by bike or on foot, with the Vauban fort in Montreuil-sur-Mer as a nearby historic excursion. The beach is a short trip away among dunes, one of the great attractions of this part of the northern coast. Check the season dates with the campsite.
